How Manitoba Has Helped

  • The Manitoba government offered immediate support to Ukraine and has continued its strong and unwavering commitment.
  • To date, the Manitoba government has contributed $800,000 in direct humanitarian aid and nearly 300 soft body-armour vests to assist with the war effort.
  • The Manitoba government established the Ukrainian Refugee Task Force, led by the Manitoba Emergency Management Organization, to plan and coordinate efforts to help Ukrainian refugees.
  • This work has allowed Manitoba to provide a full range of care and settlement services, including housing, employment search, health and mental health care, education, child care and social assistance.

Manitoba's Ukrainian community is vibrant and strong, and your support will be deeply appreciated during these difficult times, and will build on these enduring bonds.
